Emergency Blood
Our Emergency Blood couriers are on-hand 24 hours a day to provide emergency ad-hoc collections for finished product bloods for emergency transfusion. We can provide collections from your nearest NBS centre or distribute from within your own internal blood banking system across your hospital campus.
All couriers are GMP trained and will ensure that collections once made from the NBS are delivered directly, in person, to your theatre or Hospital Blood Bank. Our GMP trained Pathology Couriers will ensure that you are adhering to the latest CPA and MHRA guidelines for the movement of finished product bloods; by ticking these regulatory boxes you can be assured that your patient bloods are being properly shipped, thus avoiding the need to use non GMP trained mini-cab or taxi services.
