GP Surgery Collections
Our GP Surgery collection service provides extensive value and professional integrity to the collection of patient samples within your local Health Authority catchment area.
We will provide a dedicated GMP trained pathology courier for each of your GP routes, the regular couriers will be supported by trained back-up couriers to provide cover for periods of holiday and sickness. Our GP couriers will familiarise themselves with each of the surgery collection points and will work with your GP liaison teams to ensure we provide a fully tailored service to each GP, especially for covering later opening hours, weekend collections and rural routes.
Our routing and planning managers will work with you to identify opportunities to manage sample delivery volumes more effectively, allowing you to optimise lab time by spreading the deliveries to the lab throughout the day. Our Medical Barcode solution offers increased level of security and greater patient care to this process by allowing you to track the sample from GP surgery to Sample Reception.
